Twain is a very blunt man. He says what he thinks and he is not afraid to offend anyone. The best way to approach his literature is with an open mind and not take offensive to any of it. I choose to face life like Twain did. If you spend your life getting offended and not being completely honest with yourself and others around you, then you are missing out on all the world has to offer and teach us.
"It's too Smooth and Blubbery" is what Twain said regarding his thoughts on Dutch Poetry. Does it only describe the perplexity of Dutch Poetry? Maybe it is just a bit more. After all, life can be a bit smooth and blubbery at times.
P.S. Converse are and will always be my favorite form of getting around :-D
