I had a tough time being home from my mission. Here I was leaving what had been my dream since I was a little girl. I was lost and confused and seemed to have no direction in my life after I got home. I wanted so bad to go back and feel that missionary spirit again. I remember on the mission I would always feel more excited and ready to work even harder than before after attending Zone Conferences. What I needed more than anything was that reassurance and that prep to keep my going in my life.
The mission reunion held on Friday in Orem was just what I needed. President Pimentel and his wife returned home from there 3 year service in July and came to our reunion. I was so excited to see them again and feel there love and guidance that they gave me throughout my 18 months serving the Lord. President and his wife spoke to us and gave us an update of the mission and the success that is continuing and best of all President gave us once again a reassurance of what he told us as we left the mission. He than told us that we need to be more Preppy in our every day lives:
P= Personal
R= Religious
E= Everyday
P= Preparation
I needed to hear his words again. I needed to see him look right at me in the eyes with his love that he once gave me during our interviews. I needed to feel that missionary spirit again and know that I am exactly where I am suppose to be. I felt like I was leaving Zone Conference with the excitement and readiness to work hard and continue doing what I am commanded to do.
Not only was this what I needed, but I got to see some of my dear friends I made during these 18 months. Other missionaries who I served side by side with.
GREAT WAS MY JOY

To top off the trip I spent the night at Katie's place. I have known Katie since we were 8 years old and living in Austin, Texas. It was so good to see her and catch up with her.
