As my last post indicated, I am 100% a busy bee--whatever that means. I wake up everyday and than by the time I get home in the afternoon or in the evening I just want to crash--once I do I am gone!
One thing about me is taking up a challenge and with everything that is going on, I need something to keep me sane. The university fitness program offers a thing called "The Nine Week Challenge."
What that means is that you work out 3 hours a week--which I use to always work out everyday for an hour, but since this semester is overwhelming with different events I am glad to find at least 3 hours a week--We are to attend one fitness class a week--that includes Zumba, Cycling, Abs, etc--and finally we are to attend one wellness workshop during the semester. We keep our record on a program online, and when we complete the challenge we get a free t-shirt. If I was still in High School I probably could hear my mom's voice saying, "Another t-shirt? You need to invest in some nicer clothes." What can I say mom? I am drawn to t-shirts (comfort) and free stuff!
I am exact to start this challenge, and I believe it will break up my busy schedule throughout the week!!!
One thing to get it out is that I write for the sports section of our school newspaper--this gets published in print and also on our webpage--www.byuicomm.net. Check it out! Every week I will have a new article published on the site under the sports tab!!
