It's the most wonderful time of the year

Yep, I am sure you thought I was talking about Christmas. However, did you know that my favorite month is October? Did you know my favorite holiday is Halloween? Did you know I am turning 25 this month?

WAIT! HOLD UP! Let's scratch that last question. Forget I said anything about turning 25.

This for me is the greatest time of year. I love everything October has to offer.
As you can see, my parents are the ones who made this become my favorite month, holiday, etc.

Growing up, I always looked at October being the ultimate party month. On most of my birthdays, we always did a costume party or some kind of Halloween craft. Then there was my dad's birthday. My dad was born on Halloween and so I always looked at Halloween being more then just trick or treating--thought that was a plus. We always had cake and celebrated.

Not to mention, I some how love spooky, creepy things. Halloween has all the thing I love. I love stories that are scary and mysterious. I love pumpkin everything. I love Witches, Ghost, Jack-o-lanterns, etc. I love haunted houses. I love everything Halloween. I could live with Halloween stuff being in season all year round. In fact, when asked in preschool what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said a witch.

No other holiday or month tops October.

So in honor of the fist day of October, I write this post. Don't forget people--Christmas comes after Halloween and Thanksgiving. I can not stand any kind of Christmas music or decorations until after Thanksgiving. It makes me upset that it seems like Christmas stuff comes out earlier and earlier every year.

So hears to the most wonderful time of the year--OCTOBER!
