It has almost been 10 months since I married Glenn, but I am still getting used to having another family. So, I apologize, I do not have many pictures from this trip. I tend to take tons and tons and tons of pictures when I am with my own family. I am sure over time I will get more comfortable with it all, but until then, Glenn is more than welcome to take pictures too.
We started out our break time by going to an old roommates reception. Bradee was my roommate before Glenn and I got married, and she married Joe, who was in our student ward too.
It was like a roommate reunion. . . we were all there!
Then off to Montana.
On Christmas eve we had waffles for dinner and enjoyed some time listening to Christmas stories and seeing on the computer where in the world Santa was.
Christmas morning was also delightful. We looked through our stalkings, opened presents, and enjoyed some cinnamon rolls. Glenn and I were also excited because we got to use the stalkings my mom made us.
The rest of the time in Montana was mostly enjoyed hanging out at the house. We relaxed, I started reading my new book Glenn got me, and played games.
When we got back to Rexburg, we were in awe with the amount of snow that hit. There was no snow at all when we left Rexburg. Glenn had to rent a bobcat, so we could clear the parking lot for our tenants. There as a lot of snow.
Finally, Glenn and I enjoyed a nice New Year's Eve together. We got some things to have our own little walk around dinner (that my family usually does). It was not very much a walk around dinner though. With just the two of us, we were able to sit easily at the table with all the food.
We played some games together, and I tried super hard to stay up until midnight. I probably can count on my hands how many times in my life I have stayed up until midnight on New Year's Eve. I am an early to bed goer, even on this night.
Enjoying eggnog in these huge glasses |
