FOUR MONTHS!

Dear Johnathan,
Wow, you are four months old! You have grown so much during this last month. However, you are still sporting 0-3 month pants because of your skinny waist. Your personality is getting more and more fun as time goes on. You still love bath time . . . somehow I don’t think that will ever change. A few weeks ago you rolled over from your back to your tummy in the middle of the night. At this point, it would disrupt your sleep, and you cried because you were so startled. I thought those nights would never end. Finally, you got use to rolling over onto your tummy. Now you sleep like a champ. You sleep from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. I love it!
You love to play on the floor and roll everywhere. You are even inch worming your way off the blanket occasionally. Slow down bud. . . I am not ready for that. You love to growl/roar when you play. It is super fun. You think it is hilarious when we stick our tongues out. You just crack up when we do that. You also love the swings. You get so excited when we put you in one at the park. We thought we would take advantage of the weather before it gets too cold. You love being outside, and I am not looking forward to the coming months because it will be too cold for us to go play outside.
You love to talk. You will go on and on and sometimes wait for our response. Whatever we say you seem to think if funny. But, sometimes you talk to us in a very concerned and serious voice. We have no idea what you are saying, but it seems important.

Some of your favorite toys is the little teddy bear your great uncle Jim and aunt Charlyn gave you, and your little monkey blanket toy from your cousins Garrett, Caleb, Matthew, and Daniel. You go to sleep with your monkey every night and love cuddling with it.
We have enjoyed these 4 months with you and looking forward to many more.

Love,
Mom
