Jump or don't Jump

I was thinking about some memories from my mission and for some reason this particular memory came to mind. 

Before you JUMP to conclusions, this gate is actually to one of the LDS Church buildings. This is an area where the Elders served, and we met here once a week for a meeting (District meeting). The gate was locked, and we did not have a key. A couple Elders we were with jumped the fence. We were still waiting for some more Elders to show up with a key. There were a few reasons it was not a good idea for me to jump this fence: 

1. I was wearing a skirt 
2. I can be a klutz 
3. I suck at jumping fences 

I decided to give it a try though and failed. There are times in our life where we need to decided to jump or not jump. It is good for us to fail at something. Sometimes we just need a good laugh about it and not let it get us down. I pretty much lived by this on my mission. I have been home for almost 6 years now and still think of all my successes I had. However, it is the disappointment and times of failure that helped me to really grow.

This is a silly video and us mostly goofing of, but I hope to always have that attitude in life. Sometimes you just got to laugh, even when the jump was not high enough.
