Dearest Colette,
Happy 2 months! I don’t know if I should say we survived two
months with you, or you survived two months with us. You are a much happier
little girl. Your acid reflex is getting a lot better. You do not fuss and
scream like you use to. You still spit up a lot. But, at least you smile. J Your smile is
contagious.
You love attention and will squeal when you get it. You have rolled
over maybe once in the last week. You started rolling over in your first month
but things have slowed down some. You hold your head up so well now. You love
to stand. You will stiffen your legs and get excited when we grab your hands.
You immediately want to be pulled to your feet. You love watching Johnathan. You get a big grin when he is in your view. It will be so fun to see you two play with each other one day. Johnathan likes sharing his toys with you, but I am sure that will change when you start to take them yourself.
You are a great sleeper at night. Only getting up twice to eat and going back to sleep. You do very well going to sleep on your own as long as that pacifier is in your mouth. Otherwise, we spend forever bouncing you to go to sleep. Though, you still have at least one nap in the day that you can’t be put down for.
Baths seem to relax you . . . a bit too much. You could be feeling constipated and then decide to let it all go when you are in the bath tub. This happens almost ever bath too.
You are a very wiggle baby. During my doctor appointments
while I was pregnant, they always said how wiggly you were. It was always
difficult to find a heartbeat because you were always on the move. That trait
stayed with you.
We look forward to the coming months as your personality
will start to develop more.
Love,
Mommy
