Hop On Over

Happy Late Easter!!!

I know, I am bit late, but give me a break--it was only two days ago. Actually, this post will consist of General Conference and Easter; however, mostly Easter.

A couple weeks ago was General Conference. I don't have much to share regarding Conference, but a long time ago when Glenn and I were just dating we made waffles late at night and put ice cream on them. At this moment, we decided to make this a General Conference tradition. Right before the Sunday morning session we had a yummy breakfast. Glenn really likes this new tradition of ours. For me it is a bit too much sugar for one breakfast. Luckily it is only twice a year.

And of course, this last weekend was Easter. I love holidays so much. Not only do I love holidays, but I love the decorating, baking, cooking, and sometimes hosting. I love to make people feel welcomed and see that they are enjoying there time. Easter is no exception.

Saturday started our Easter adventures. We invited Glenn's old roommate over to dye Easter Eggs with us. I for one love this part. Not only do seeing all the different colors, but I love eating them. Boiled eggs are one of my favorites, and Deviled Eggs top it off perfectly. A while back Glenn told me he did not like boiled eggs. Turns out he had never even tried them. Glenn is now converted to eating boiled eggs and deviled eggs. Oh happy day!.

It was a lot of fun. The next day, Easter Sunday, Glenn and I woke up to find that the Easter bunny had visited us both. Glenn and I decided to do each others baskets.

We had invited Mckay (Glenn's old roommate), and our upstairs neighbors over for Easter Dinner. It we had a great time and played some games afterwords. We made ham, holiday potatoes, carrots, deviled eggs, jigglers, and resurrection rolls. For dessert, our neighbor made cheese cake with strawberries and whip cream.

Overall it was a fantastic Easter.

And of course, let us remember the true meaning of Easter. Christ our Savior.
