Friends Forever and Ever

“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

Who doesn't like Winnie the Pooh?

For me, it is a favorite! I love the stories, and they have some of the best quotes.

However, just like Pooh Bear, we must also say goodbye to some dear friends. This is not a forever goodbye, but more of a 'see ya later.'

Josh and I met our first semester (Fall 2008). He had always been like a brother since we met. In 2013, he married Aubrey. When Josh started dating Aubrey in 2012, Aubrey and I realized we are super alike and became instant friends. I attended their sealing April 2013 and got to see them bring a beautiful little girl into the world a little over a month ago. When I started dating Glenn, Josh would not believe me that I was really dating someone. We went to play games with Josh and Aubrey at their house to prove to him.  I am grateful for this friendship because not many of my friendships have lasted since my first semester up here. They are moving to Utah and starting a new adventure! I am excited for them, but I will miss them.

Taken last Friday.
Another friendship that will be missed is Mckenna. We both became roommates Fall of 2012 and remained roommates all the way up to February 2014. We have both had some crazy adventures, such as, buying Footie PJs on Black Friday. We, of course, remained great friends after I moved out to marry Glenn. Mckenna was always welcome to drop by anytime, and we continue to have fun together. I am grateful for this friendship because Mckenna always took the time to come to my room and see how I was doing. We would talk about everything at that point. She is graduating this week and heading back home to Texas. Adventures will not end with this goodbye.

This was taken last Saturday. Mckenna is the one with the black scarf.

Now for a song!!!
