One Year Down

Happy first year of 'mawage' to Glenn!

One thing I am so grateful for is a companionship to help get through the hard times. Within our first year of marriage we have gone through two cars, two parents with cancer, an announcement of us expecting, and much more.

I am am happy to be married to Glenn and to get to spend eternity with him. We may disagree on things, but we always move past those differences.

After we found out my mom had cancer, Glenn wanted to send me to Texas for Christmas. I, however, did not feel like going to Texas for Christmas and leaving Glenn. We worked it out that we both were able to go to Texas in February, and I stayed a bit longer. Though I was in complete disagreement with Glenn sending me away on Christmas, I was so happy to have someone who was supportive and helpful to me in every way. He knew how much going to Texas would mean to me, and he was willing to be separated from me on Christmas. Glad it worked out that we both got to go down in February instead.

I did not like Glenn at all before we dated. I did not tell Glenn I loved him when he first said it to me. But, when the time came, I knew I wanted to marry him. I have grown to love him and love him more.

 Happy One Year Anniversary!
