It's. . .

HALLOWEEN!! Unfortunately, we are not holding our annual Mackay Halloween party. We moved to Texas (my home sweet home) about a month ago and with all the changes, it was just not going to happen this year. I was kind of bummed because I had already started planning my party. My Rexburg friends look forward to it every year too. All I got to say, they do get better every year. So next year will be awesome!

Though, we are not able to have a fun-filled party this year with our friends, it is super fun to see Johnathan's excitement for the holiday. Last year he sure made a cute Frankenbaby. This year is was our little Dragon :-)

It is so fun to be able to share the excitement of my favorite holiday with Johnathan. Every thing is so new and exciting for him. If only we can learn to see the world and thrill through a child's eyes. I am so glad to be able to bring this holiday alive for him. One thing about Johnathan is he absolutely loves pumpkins. Last year he was 4 months old on Halloween. I bought him a little pumpkin book. This book ended up being his all time favorite. He just lights up when we read it. So yes, we have read that book all year long. haha. It was so exciting once October came around again. Every time we passed a pumpkin he just lights up. It was so fun to take him to a pumpkin patch. He picked out his own little pumpkin. He loved carrying it around. We also got him one of those cheap plastic trick or treat pumpkins. he thinks it is the greatest thing ever! I love it.

 I look forward to spending more and more Halloweens with this little guy. I think Halloween may just become his favorite holiday too :-)
